I’ve had to learn the hard way that I can’t manage my life the same way, though. I track progress and ensure we meet the deadlines – on time, on budget, and meeting expectations. Yet, his timing is always perfect – even though it can be hard to wait for. His timeline is almost never aligned with the one we desire. And, most importantly, trust God’s perfect timing for your life ( Luke 1:45).Are you in a season of waiting? Longing for God to move you to the next step in your journey? Ready for God to deliver on his promises in your life? Remain faithful in the few things that He has placed before you ( Matthew 25:23). God assured me that things would work out in the season He’s purposed them to.Īs you journey into 2019, take these words of encouragement with you: Focus on God’s kingdom and righteousness ( Colossians 3:1-2). In that low point, God showed me that He created everyone – including myself – with a unique life story. I was unemployed and struggling to create a successful business. All of my peers seemingly moved on in their education, careers, and personal lives. I felt I’d been stuck in the same place for years. I went through a season where I was frustrated with life.
